Provider Guidelines

The following guidelines are provided for your convenience. Carolina Care Plan reviews and updates each guideline when new scientific evidence or national standards are published, or at a minimum of every two years. Most guidelines are in PDF format, though a guideline may link to an external site. Please print out any guideline you need using the tabs as indicated. Guidelines vary in size from 1 to 30 pages.

• Alcohol Screening- Visit the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) to complete a free interactive video course. This course is a companion to the NIAAA alcohol screening guideline and provides one CME credit.
